Today I wanted to show you the Curver Travelling Kit. A few weeks ago, we were running out of one of Nix’s kibbles, so we had to order more online. Since we have a membership card, we’ve been accumulating points which we can spend on some products of the shop’s catalogue, which we then get for free or for a lower price.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, I thought it’d be a good idea to use some of these points to get the Curver Travelling Kit, since I had had my eye on it for a while.
As you can see in the pictures, the Travelling Kit looks like some sort of container with a handle. The handle makes it very easy to carry, holds everything together and ensures that all the components are kept in place.
The kit includes two antislip bowls (500 ml) and an airtight container (1.5 litres), all of them made of plastic. Both bowls are identical and have a very decent size. The airtight container fits inside the two bowls. Moreover, the bowls and the container are dishwasher-safe. The price of the kit ranges from about €8 to €14. I’d say it’s pretty good value, as the plastic looks sturdy and of good quality.
Logically, depending on your dog’s size and the amount of food she eats, the container will be appropriate for either a weekend out or longer. In Nix’s case, the container can probably hold about a couple of days worth of food, perhaps more.
We haven’t used it yet, as we haven’t had the opportunity to go on holiday since we got it, but from what I’ve seen so far, it looks like it’s going to be very practical and useful. My idea is to wash everything and store the bowls in the car. I’ll leave the container at home, so that we can fill it with food when we need to use it.
